I’m Mary and I’m the owner and writer of this blog: Best 4 Mum. I love blogging and I’ve been blogging for years on and off. Writing for me is a way of being creative, sharing my thoughts, ideas and experiences, but more than anything else it’s a way to connect with others. It also helps me relax and it’s a good way of getting things off my chest. It’s something I really enjoy and I love connecting with other people online through my blog.
As the name of the blog suggests Best 4 Mum started out as a parenting blog. My son was born in 2007 and I refer to him on here as J. As my son’s got older he’s developed his own interests and I’ve found new things to do too. I’m still interested in products and services aimed at the family market. These days though I tend to spread my net a little wider and I cover all sorts of things on this site now. I guess it’s a lifestyle blog, with a family focus or a family lifestyle blog. Not everything featured here will be about kids, it will also include features for the grown ups in the home too.
Best 4 Mum started off partly as a way of letting off a bit of steam and sharing my parenting experiences. My blog was very much for me, about me and the issues I was dealing with at the time. Nowadays it’s really as much about my audience and their concerns as my own. So if there’s a topic, you’d like me to cover please do get in touch and let me know. I’m keen to write about what you want to read.
